Milk Feeding

CalfOTel's range of milk feeders are designed to provide efficient and precise feeding solutions for young calves. These milk feeders are a crucial component of calf management, ensuring that calves receive the necessary nutrition in a controlled and hygienic manner.

CalfOTel's milk feeders are crafted with attention to detail, considering the specific needs of young calves during their early growth stages. The feeders are equipped with features that promote ease of use, cleanliness, and accurate portion control. The design includes teat systems that mimic natural suckling behavior, making it easier for calves to use them instinctively.

Different mounting points are available to, from the Solide featured in the video with a clip to hold the bucket securely in place, to foldable multi-bucket holder.

Teat Bucket
A classic, sturdy, plastic teat bucket with a capacity of nine litres.
Also available is a hood, to keep out flies, cats, and other vermin to guarantee optimal hygiene.

Milkfeeder Single
The specifically designed system results in slow milk yield which means that calves suckle longer, resulting in additional saliva production which improves digestion and increases feed intake, as well as fulfilling the suckling need of the calves.
The slanted bottom of the Milk Feeder means that less residual milk remains.

Milkfeeder Group
The Milkfeeder Group is used after the Milkfeeder Single and helps lay the foundation for healthy, sustainable and efficient dairy cows. The specifically designed system offers room for up to six calves, and any unused teat locations can be sealed with a plug.

Combifeeders

CalfOTel Combifeeders represent a comprehensive and innovative solution for efficient calf feeding management. These advanced feeders are designed to provide calves with the right nutrition while streamlining the feeding process for farmers, by combining hay and pellet feeding in one unit. With the hay rack above the pellet feeder, any dropped hay does not end on the floor of the calf area, helping minimise waste and improve hygiene.

The AdLib Feeder, on the other hand, is especially designed for use with pellets, providing a constant source of food while also keeping the bulk unexposed and safe from birds, rain, and rodents.

Combifeeder
A practical, time-saving feeding trough that enables you to place pellets and hay together in a combined unit. The bottom houses the container for pellets, while the top is for the hay rack.

Made from galvanised steel and suitable for up to five calves to feed from, the Combifeeder XL is the ideal accompaniement to the XL-5 and XL-10 calf hutches.

AdLibFeeder

Feeding Trough
A plastic feeding trough made of high-quality polyethylene that clips onto the front fence of your calf hutch, in which you can place both milk and concentrates. The bowls & buckets fit snugly and securely into the trough due to the curved shape, which keeps the trough clean for any concentrates.
